Christian RasmussenHead CoachOur Head Coach, Christian Rasmussen, has been coaching the Polar Bears for 21 years. Christian grew up in Walnut Creek. He started swimming when he was six and swam competitively through college. Christian coached a number of recreational, high school and year-round swim teams, before joining Rancho San Miguel. We are excited to have Christian bring his expertise in competitive swimming, as well as a great sense of fun to the Polar Bears! When he is not coaching the Polar Bears, Christian offers swim lessons Rancho San Miguel Swim Club through his swim school Rasmussen Swimming. |
Reid joined RSM when he was a 7/8. He just finished up his junior year at the Unversity of California, Berkeley. Reid also loves watching and playing baseball and water polo. Working out is his favorite activity and he also enjoys eating lots of food.
Kevin's lifelong passion for swimming began at age 5 on the Scottsdale team. He swam competitively for Aquabears, De La Salle, and DVC. A special moment was having dinner with Missy Franklin and holding her 2012 Olympic gold medal. Kevin shares his birthday with his mom and enjoys basketball, football, and drawing when not in the pool.
Dana has over 30 years of experience in swimming. She swam on recreational teams as a kid and has swam with Walnut Creek Masters as an adult. She also runs Rasmussen Swimming with her husband, Coach Christian. When not at the pool, Dana enjoys raising her son and reading.
