Farewell Dinner & Team Awards

Let's celebrate this season's many victories at the Farewell & Awards Dinner on Sunday, July 30th at 6PM @ RSM Per tradition, dinner will be catered by Taqueria Los Gallos! Vegetarian option will be served. Swimming, slideshow, awards, and team spirit will be on repeat! Cost is $20/adult and $10/child (kids 5 yr and under free) Kindly buy tickets via the RSM Store by EOD Thursday, July 27th. **No money will be taken at the event. All families must pre-pay** The purchased ticket(s) is your RSVP for the event. Also, LAST chance to get your job credits! We need many hands on deck to help make this event a success as we're expecting over 350 people! NEW this year! Lafayette Swim Conference (LSC) is hosting a Last Chance Meet at Acalanes! This is not a team-sponsored swim meet but swimmers are welcome to sign up individually. Coaches do not plan to attend. Individuals must pre-register online via FastSwims.com - Swimmer splash fee is $10 and each swim entry is $7. Limited deck entries will be available for open lanes only. There are no restrictions on entry time, number of swims, or number of events. DCSL Championship Meet

End of regular season championship meet with the other DCSL teams. All swimmers swim at least 2 events. This year we are in charge of the Officials role. The order of events will mimic a typical league dual meet. RSM warm-ups will be in Lanes 9-12 from 8:25-8:45. VIP parking will go on sale Monday 7/24 at 9am, click HERE. |

Spaghetti Dinner

Join us for our annual Spaghetti Dinner on Friday, July 28th at 5:30pm at RSM, for some team bonding and to carb-load before DCSL! We'll also announce the Swim-a-Thon winners (most laps and most $ raised, by age group). Please RSVP(by Tuesday night) and then sign up to bring food to share. Choose to bring spaghetti noodles, bread, sauce, or salads (enough for 10-15 ppl per item). It takes a lot to feed Polar Bear families! Don't forget to LABEL your crock pots, utensils, serving bowls and trays so we can get those back to you. Please check in with Amy Golan on Friday to get your job credits if you are working a setup, serving, or cleanup shift. Sign-ups are now OPEN; RSVPs are due by Tuesday night for planning purposes. If you're planning to come, please do sign up to contribute food or a job shift. The event starts on Friday at 5:30pm. and ends by 7:30pm. Plan to bring your own chairs and get comfy picnic-style around the deck. We will feed swimmers first, then adults. There is NO SWIMMING! Night Riders - Shhhhhh

Night Riders is a top-secret tradition for those 8 & under swimmers who are attending the DCSL meet! Coaches and older swimmers will visit our younger Polar Bears at their homes to get them psyched for the big DCSL league meet! Sshh...don't tell your kids; this is such a fun surprise! |

Spirit Week!!
Get excited for Spirit Week, July 24-28th! DCSL, Saturday July 29th! Let’s get our Polar Bear Spirit on and gear up for the BIG League Championship Meet! Monday: Stay after practice to make a customized Polar Bear keychain to hang with pride on your swim bag. Tuesday: Make signs to be hung around the pool and along the way to Northgate for the big meet! Cool Beads Ice Cream will also be on the deck from 11:00-12:30pm. Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday! Stick around the pool to color your hair and paint your nails. (Special assignment for the 11/12 year olds: help us prep the goodie bags for our night riders after your practice!) Thursday: Airbrush Tattoos - back by popular demand!! Special airbrush tattoo artist giving individual tattoos from 10am-1:00pm. Tattoos will be $7 each – cash and Venmo will be accepted. Also... sssshhh... special night for our 8 and under swimmers. The coaches and older swimmers will visit our younger Polar Bears to get them psyched for DCSL! Don't tell your kids! Your swimmers MUST be signed in to the DCSL meet to receive a visit. Friday: Tag your ride! We will have all the supplies for decorating cars and spreading our RSM pride around town! Please come back to the pool from 5:30:00-7:30pm to carb-load at our Spaghetti Dinner! WE NEED YOUR HELP to make this event a success… please RSVP by Tuesday, July 25th and visit the swim team calendar to sign up to bring food or volunteer to help. * DCSL Shirts will be distributed at practice. ** Mama Bears - Enjoy and evening of Bracelet making, Tuesday, July 25th, 6-8:00pm on the pool deck.. Please bring a drink or app to share; beads will be provided. *** If you will be around the pool during these activities, please feel free to help out!! 2023 Woodlands Invitational

This is a large invitational meet with preliminary events in the morning and finals after lunch. The Medley Relay, 11-18 IM, Free and Breast for all ages on Saturday and the Free Relay, 7-10 IM, Back and Fly for all ages on Sunday. The meet has limited entries per event so not all swimmers will be entered. The Woodlands Invitational will be following USA swimming regulations for 12 & Under Tech Suits. All attending families will need to work a job at the meet, which does not count towards regular season jobs. Saturday RSM warmups will be 8:10-8:20am in Lanes 1, 2, and 3 of the Racing AND Middle Pools. Check the Woodlands Invitational website for real time information including the afternoon finals program, when released. |
